Probably the rudest employees ever. The girl with the long blondish hair was not welcoming. Was very curt with me. I will never ever go here again . customer service should be top notch. They were not even busy at the time. Also a dish was added to my order for 13.75 that i did not order. But found out when i got home.

It was terrible. Food not fresh and lady was swiping carpet and floors while customers eating. We had to tell her it's not right to do that around the food. I will never eat there again🤢

THE absolute BEST place in Ontario to get Chinese buffet. Everything has always been so good, I travel several hundred kilometers to eat at this restaurant and I never miss it when I'm in Peterborough. Best chicken wings ever, best Chicken Fried Rice, best egg rollls and breaded shrimp. Everything about the food here excites me when I know I'll be in town.

Ordered takeout as usual...chicken balls were tough and chewy. Found they were made with dried out dark meat. Also felt msg was used. Won't order from them again.

Buffet area is rather small and limited in its selection. Better to order off the menu. But the food was good and so was the price.

I've been coming here for years... and really it's hit or miss with this place. But I enjoy it and the prices aren't too bad. $9.00 for a lunch all you can eat buffet? Not a bad price if you ask me.

This place is a classic in Peterborough as its been around for more than 15 years and always has good food and great service.

We dined March 9th for lunch.....not only was viewing the buffet a taste for the eyes,the food was delicious and the price bang on!Great food...we WILL be back!

Servers were friendly but that’s where the positives end. It’s like this place got stuck in the 70’s., barn board paneling on the walls and old red leather uncomfortable chairs. Arrived at 6pm. The selection was terrible and what was there was under seasoned and over cooked. The wonton soup broth taste like water and the actual wonton was flavorless and overdone. The restaurant doesn’t even have free refills on their pop.

Recently moved to Peterborough searching out a good Chinese Restaurant . My positive is it is clean . Food was substandard. Won Ton soup was cold and very pastey,slimey. Hot@sour soup was cold no hot in it and a strong taste only of vinegar. Egg rolls dry like straw inside. Honey garlic chicken had 2 pieces of chicken soaking in a watery sauce. Breaded shrimp lots of bread hard to find the shrimp . Salad bar consisted of a container of lettuce, croutons,sweet cucumber pickles,did not look further . Desert ice cream was unusually hard not fresh, canned peaches and canned pineapple,almond cookies jaw breaking little circles. in a cooler usually used for pop were aprox 5 little squares of chocolate jelled ,5 aprox pink jelled square ,a few what looked like some kind of cinnamon cake . did not look to pleasing . We walked away hungry .We took very small portions but most ended up wasted . Very disappointed .Total thumbs down for us sorry

i rate this a 2 only because they were nice people. other the that the food soggy or no flavor. rice was under cooked. chicken balls shouldnt feel like slim when your chewing. And im pretty sure half the employees smoked a few bong loads before coming to work.

The only redeeming quality was the waitress. Food was cold and bland and some items were empty and not refilled. Disappointing could have gone to Montana's and had steak and 2 sides for the same price 😟

Went for lunch today. Food was cold and gross. Only ate what I could because of being diabetic.. desserts was nothing to look at. Only thing that was good was a glass of water.Will not go back . Only seen one staff member, she was sitting at a table playing on her phone.I could have gone to casino for a better buffet for same money.

Service is excellent, the food not so great. It tastes very bland compared to other similar Chinese buffets. The buffet island is small with a limited number of foods I attended for dinner and most of the trays had veggies didn’t really seem worth the $15. Sitting area is large with lots of tables. I’m giving 5 star for service because someone was always there to check in to refill beverages and take away dishes. Overall score 2 stars

Prices change every week. I have a take out menu from 3 weeks ago with different prices than my attempt to purchase food tonight says. Sadly they wanted 3 dollars more for the same meal purchased last week. Too make it even better, it was their staff member who made the menu suggestion in the first place!

Unfortunately I had given this restaurant a 5 star review 2 weeks ago. I've never had an issue but apparently customer service has gone down here. We had the buffet tonight. Everything was cold. Meat. Veggies. Soup. Everything. The dessert I tried to eat was stale. When it was brought to the attention of staff, they told us to let them know next time the buffet is cold and they will give us warm stuff from the back. No thanks. You've just lost our business. There was no compensation offered. We paid full price. I was not expecting compensation however an apology would have sufficed.

This is my favorite place in all of Peterborough. Their food is the most delicious. They don't have a lot of choices, but what they have is excellent.
